It looks like sports lithographs have grown up. eGraphs allow you to write a message to one of the athletes participating in their program. That player then reads it on their iPad when they have some free time. They write a personalized message and autograph (biometrically authenticated) to the fan. That's then overlaid on a picture online of the athlete chosen by the fan. Plus a customized audio message voiced by the player is also made available. You can keep it online and share with friends or you can also get the photo and that custom signature in a framed piece for your wall. There are plans to integrate a microchip in each frame with the personal recording for that fan but that's not currently available.
