Throughout the years we've all been to parties where a white elephant gift is required. They're often gag gifts, costing only a couple dollars and all in good fun. But what to bring? You usually want to find something that is fairly gender neutral, such as a crazy-shaped ashtray, sidewalk chalk or a fake mustache. For some reason cans of spam seem to be fairly popular at these parties. Oftentimes if you go down to the local dollar store you'll find funny-shaped soaps or other random silly items. Hotel shampoos (or soaps) from a recent trip will get a good laugh too.
